An excellent shot - nice tones, well-focused and a dramatic mood. It would have been even be more interesting and professional if you'd add the facts. The fact that it's an air gun and not real military, doesn't make it a less relevant picture, quite the contrary. A young photographer from my town got a World Press award for covering similar people in South Africa. After all, the real danger is in what's in people's heads.

Not to go against your opinion, but airsoft or real steel, this is still a pretty great shot. The idea of you liking it because you thought it was a real gun and then not liking it because it isn't real doesn't make all that much sense.
It's like music. The audio can be awesome, but if the lyrics aren't worth shit it's a turn off for me. Like a clash between emotion and intellect. I can find a woman beautiful, but be repulsed by her personality.
